Franchise and Business Alternative Dispute Resolution
Specializing in Virtual Mediations
Virtual technology is changing the way mediations can be handled successfully and cost-effectively. Eliminate travel expenses and enable more participants involvement in a mediation for no additional costs to either party. Scheduling a mediation takes less time and can happen more quickly.
Breakout Rooms
The technology enables me as Mediator to create confidential breakout rooms for each of the parties and their counsel following a joint main session where all participants are welcomed and opening remarks are made. In the breakout rooms, lawyers and their respective clients meet in private, discuss, and caucus just as if they were in an actual physical office conference room.
Joining Breakout Rooms
Mechanics of the technology enable me as Mediator to join the breakout rooms virtually and go between each breakout room as many times as necessary during the mediation.
Features allow me to rejoin everyone back into the main session if at a point in time the parties wish to discuss matters together or when resolution is achieved.
Multiple Parties in Various States
Virtual Mediation makes it affordable and easy to have lawyers in one state representing clients in another city or state. Yet, it is as if they were sitting next to each other in a conference room. Regardless of location, the participants in one breakout room can see each other, discuss, and share documents confidentially outside the presence of me or the other side.
Participants Flexibility
Participants can join the mediation after the start, if necessary, or leave the mediation for a short time to take an important call or handle an urgent matter. And then return and rejoin the mediation. Imagine how pleased a busy CEO will be knowing he or she can leave the mediation for a while and return with ease.
If a second day of mediation is needed to finalize a settlement, it can be continued with ease. No hassle for rearranging travel plans or increased expenses.
